Katie Soo
Katie Soo is the Chief Operating Officer of DICE, a leading independent music ticketing platform. An award-winning global media and technology marketer, Katie has built an undeniable track record of success, transforming traditional industries through disruptive and culturally significant brands. She has contributed to some of the most iconic names in entertainment, including HBO Max, Warner Bros Digital Networks, DC Universe, and Hulu.
Soo began her career in tech, playing a pivotal role in transforming Dollar Shave Club into a trailblazing direct-to-consumer unicorn of its time. She went on to lead groundbreaking global campaigns, bringing cultural phenomena like Wonder Woman and Game of Thrones to fans worldwide, exemplifying her ability to drive innovation and create connections on a global scale.
In addition to her role at DICE, Katie holds multiple advisory and nonprofit board positions. She serves as Chairman of Asia Society Southern California’s Board, having previously co-chaired its Programming Committee, and is a Co-Founder of Asian Women Empowered (AWE), an initiative focused on advancing AAPI women in leadership. Katie also sits on Asia Society's Global Board of Trustees, where she contributes to the Development Committee, and is an Advisory Board member for California State University Entertainment Alliance. She is part of Vox Media’s Brand Council, a founding member of Goldhouse’s Gold Women initiative, and a member of Committee 100.
Katie’s work has been recognized with numerous awards for creative storytelling and digital products, including honors from AdAge, Adweek, Promax, Webbys, Clio, Digiday, and the Shorty Awards. She was also named to Goldhouse’s A100 list, celebrating the most impactful Asians in culture.
A West Coast native, Katie resides in Los Angeles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and supporting environmental causes.
